Court Vacancies Announced for Support Staff: Class 8, 10, and 12 Eligible

The District Court of Kulgam has opened up new job opportunities for local residents. The court is accepting offline applications for eight support staff posts. These include positions for Process Servers, Orderlies, a Chowkidar, and a Safaiwala. The appointments will be made in the subordinate courts across Kulgam district.

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and hold a valid domicile of Jammu and Kashmir can apply. These positions come under Level-1 and Level-2 pay grades, with monthly salaries ranging from Rs. 14,800 to Rs. 63,200.

Two posts are available for Process Servers, one for Orderlies, one for Chowkidar, and one for Safaiwala. The number of vacancies may change depending on the court’s requirement at the time of final selection.

To apply for Process Server, a candidate must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board. For Orderly and Chowkidar, the minimum qualification is Class 10 (Matric). For the Safaiwala post, applicants must have completed at least Class 8.

All applicants must be permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir and should hold a domicile certificate issued under S.O. 166, dated May 18, 2020. Applications from outside the union territory will not be accepted.

The application process is strictly offline. Forms can be collected from the office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Kulgam during office hours. They are also available for download from the official website of the district court at kulgam.dcourts.gov.in.

If someone wants to apply for more than one post, they must submit separate forms for each. Each form should be filled out completely and submitted in person at the administrative section of the District Court Kulgam. Applications sent through post or email will not be considered.

Candidates need to attach self-attested copies of the following documents with the form: qualification certificates, birth certificate, domicile proof, and category certificate if applicable. A demand draft of Rs. 300, issued by J&K Bank and made in favour of the Principal District & Sessions Judge Kulgam, must also be included.

Applications submitted after the deadline or through any mode other than offline will be rejected. Qualifications obtained after the last date of form submission will not be accepted.

The selection process will include an interview or viva voce. For Process Server roles, 80 marks will be awarded based on Class 12 results and 20 marks will come from the interview. For Orderly and Chowkidar posts, Class 10 marks will account for 80, while the interview will carry 20 marks. In the case of Safaiwala, the interview will carry full weightage with a total of 100 marks.

No travel or daily allowance will be paid to candidates appearing for the interview. Dates and venues for the interviews will be announced through local newspapers and the official court website. No individual call letters will be issued.

Candidates are advised to keep checking the website kulgam.dcourts.gov.in for updates related to the recruitment process. The court will not accept any claims from applicants who miss the interview due to lack of information.
