J&K Govt Announces Major Transfer List for School Principals
Srinagar, 14 January: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered a major administrative reshuffle in the School Education Department involving 56 Principals and Senior Lecturers. The transfers and postings have been ordered under Government Order No. 18-JK (Edu) of 2026 dated January 14, 2026, and have been issued in the interest of administration with immediate effect.
Under the order, three Senior Lecturers have been given look-after charge of Principal posts. Roheena Wazir (RBA) has been shifted from HSS Athoora to HSS Haigam in Baramulla. Pawan Kumar (SC) has been transferred from HSS Kud to HSS Sanasar in Ramban. Bishan Sharma has been moved from HSS Arnia to DIET Kud in Udhampur.
Among the Principals and Incharge Principals, Chaman Lal has been transferred from HSS Budhi, Kathua to HSS Baggan. Abdul Rashid Giri has been moved from HSS Trown, Doda to HSS Boys Banihal, while Shiv Lal has been shifted from HSS Boys Banihal to DIET Banihal. Gulshan Afroza has been posted from GHSS Budgam to DIET Srinagar and Pritam Singh from HSS Balmatkote, Reasi has been sent to HSS Mahore.
Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat has been transferred from HSS Munadguff, Kulgam to HSS Parnalla. Satinder Kaur has been allowed to continue at HSS Vijaypur, Samba. Rachna Tomar has been posted from DSEJ to Boys Model HSS RS Pura. Rita Sharma has been directed to join HSS Chan Arorian through the office of CEO Kathua. Reena Jandial has been posted to HSS Channunta, Udhampur, while Anuradha Kumari has been moved to SCERT Jammu.
Amita Gupta has been transferred to HSS Pakhlai, Udhampur and Anita Kumari to DIET Samba. Sambi Kumari has also been posted to DIET Samba. Raj Kumar has been shifted to HSS Balmatkote, Reasi. Mushtaq Hussain has been retained in-situ at DSEJ. Neelam Kumari has been posted to Samagra Shiksha Jammu and Manmeet Bali to HSS Boys Akhnoor.
Nazir Ahmad Najar has been moved from HSS Sultanpura Baramulla to GHSS Trehgam Kupwara, while Mohd Yaseen Magray has been transferred from HSS Gopalpora Anantnag to GHSS Kupwara. Nisar Ahmad Baba has been directed to join BHSS Yaripora from February 1, 2026. Gulzar Ahmad Khan has been moved from HSS Satoora Pulwama to HSS Boys Ganderbal. Keshav Sharma has been shifted from HSS Baggan to HSS Budhi Kathua and Surjeet Singh from HSS Girls Mandi Poonch to HSS Khoon.
Mohd Sharif Khan has been transferred from HSS Karihama Kupwara to HSS GG Mohalla Srinagar. Susheela Kumari has been posted to HSS Taloor Samba and Pritam Singh from HSS Ukhral Ramban to HSS Hari Poonch. One officer from BHSS Keran Kupwara has been transferred to BHSS Kupwara. Nazir Ahmad Bijran has been moved from BHSS Teetwal to GHSS Ganderbal and Ishan-ul-Haq from BHSS Kalaroosa to GHSS Budgam.
Qamar-ul-Nissa has been posted from GHSS Ganderbal to DIET Pampore Pulwama. Asifa Jan Nisar has been transferred from BHSS Char-i-Sharief Budgam to the Divisional Office of SCERT Kashmir. Shamsher Singh has been moved from Samagra Shiksha to HSS Damnote Udhampur. Kali Dass has been posted from HSS Gundna Doda to DIET Kud Udhampur. Rakesh Kumar has been transferred from HSS Dhandrath Ramban to HSS Bajabai Rajouri.
Rekha Rani has been posted to HSS Kandoli Nagrota. Musarat Jabeen has been transferred from HSS Boys Akhnoor to HSS Shastri Nagar Jammu. Mohammad Syed Mir has been moved from HSS Devalgam Anantnag to HSS Aragam. Kanta Sharma has been transferred from HSS Tote Reasi to HSS in Jammu. Sujata Roy has been posted from HSS Judda Reasi to HSS Migrant Shastri Nagar Jammu.
Riaz Hussain has been transferred from HSS Mahore to DIET Reasi. Mohd Farooq has been moved from GHSS Inharra Doda to GHSS Bhaderwah. Ghulam Mohammad Thokar has been shifted from HSS Hardpanzoo to HSS Tarhama. Amar Jyoti Kour has been directed to join HSS Muthi from February 1, 2026. Anita has been posted from HSS Sundarbani to Samagra Shiksha.
Syed Gowher Hussain has been transferred from HSS Laridora Baramulla to HSS Managam Baramulla, while Abdul Hamid Ganaie has been moved from HSS Salamabad Uri to HSS Boniyar Baramulla. Shafayat Ali has been transferred from GHSS Bhaderwah to HSS Ghat Doda. Sarjeel Abbas Khan has been moved from GHSS Kachwa Muqam to BHSS Baramulla. Manzoor Ahmad Khanday has been posted from HSS Pahalgam to HSS Srigufwara Anantnag.
Satish Kumar has been transferred from HSS Dradhu to HSS Purkhoo Migrant. Raj Kumar Chadha has been posted from Samagra Shiksha to HSS Sunderbani. Mohinder Singh has been transferred from HSS Shirodh Kishtwar to GHSS Kore Punnu Kathua. Sanjeev Sharma has been moved from GHSS Kore Punnu Kathua to Samagra Shiksha. Naseema Akther has been directed to report to DSEJ and Varinder Nath Sharma has been transferred from HSS Senabathi Ramban to HSS Gurah Slathia Samba.
The government has directed that all officers are deemed to have been relieved and must report to their new places of posting within ten days, failing which the orders will be treated as cancelled.
