JKBOSE Class 11th Date Sheet 2025 Announced; Exams Begin from November 19 Across Kashmir & Ladakh
Srinagar, Oct 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the datesheet for the Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) Annual Regular 2025 session for Kashmir Province and District Kargil (UT of Ladakh). The examinations are set to begin from November 19, 2025, and will continue till December 13, 2025.
According to the official schedule issued from the Board’s Bemina office, all papers will be conducted in the morning session from 11:00 AM onwards.
As per the detailed date sheet, the first paper for all streams — Science, Arts, Commerce, and Home Science; will be General English, scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
The next round of examinations will take place on Saturday, November 22, where students from the Science stream will appear in Physics, while Arts students will take History, Commerce students will attempt Business Mathematics or Public Administration, and Home Science students will appear for Management of Resources.
The Chemistry paper for Science students will be held on November 25, followed by Entrepreneurship and Economics for Arts and Commerce streams respectively.

From November 28 to December 8, the examination schedule includes subjects like Computer Science, Information Practices, Environmental Science, Functional English, Islamic Studies, Vedic Studies, Buddhist Studies, Electronics, Food Technology, Biology, Geology, Bio-Technology, Microbiology, and Mathematics.
Applied Mathematics will be conducted on December 8, followed by Geography on December 11, while Vocational subjects will mark the final phase on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
The Board has also confirmed that the vocational stream subjects; such as IT & ITes, Security, Retail, Healthcare, Tourism & Hospitality, Agriculture, Media and Entertainment, Beauty and Wellness, Physical Education & Sports, Telecommunication, Plumbing, Electronics & Hardware, Automotive, Apparels Made Ups & Home Furnishing, and Power; will also be conducted as per the same schedule and timings.
These skill-based courses have been aligned with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) to promote practical learning and employment opportunities among students
JKBOSE has directed all school heads and examination centres to ensure that the schedule is strictly followed and communicated to students well in advance. The Board has urged invigilators to maintain discipline and fairness during the exams.
A senior official told ProKashmiri.in that the detailed centre allotments and roll number slips will be issued shortly through respective schools.
This year’s Class 11th exams will be conducted under the revised pattern announced earlier by JKBOSE, which includes a 15% relaxation in syllabus and passing marks due to academic disruptions.
This means that students will attempt 85% of the paper, while the passing marks have been lowered proportionally to help them cope with reduced teaching days.
For Class 11th students, subjects with 100 marks now require 31 marks to pass, while those with 80 marks need 22 marks after the relaxation.
Teachers have advised students to follow a balanced revision schedule, focus on core concepts, and avoid relying solely on the relaxation policy. With the Board exams set to start in the second half of November, schools are conducting final preparatory sessions and mock tests to help students gain confidence.
JKBOSE has also reiterated that no electronic devices will be allowed inside exam centres and that strict monitoring will be ensured throughout the exam period.
With the date sheet now public, students across Kashmir and Ladakh can plan their study routine accordingly. This announcement comes as a sign of relief and clarity for Class 11th students after weeks of speculation over the exam schedule.
