JKBOSE Announces Important Changes for 10th, 11th and 12th Classes
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a series of official notifications related to Class 10th, 11th and 12th examinations, covering Annual Regular, Annual Private and Bi-Annual streams for the academic sessions 2024 and 2025.
These notifications are important for students, parents and institutions across Jammu and Kashmir, as they deal with examination conduct, unfair means reviews, revaluation results and practical assessments.
As per the official record, JKBOSE on December 6, 2025 issued Notification No. 37/HSP-II/Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual, 2024, which pertains to Class 12th candidates appearing under the Annual Private and Bi-Annual stream of 2024. The notification contains procedural instructions and examination-related clarifications that candidates are required to follow.
On the same date, the board also issued Notification No. 16/HSP-II/Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual, 2025, applicable to Class 12th Annual Private and Bi-Annual candidates for the 2025 session. The notification outlines eligibility conditions, examination norms and administrative guidelines.
Another key notification released was Notification No. 18/HSP-II/Annual (Regular), 2025, which directly concerns Class 12th Annual Regular students. This notification addresses examination-related decisions affecting regular school-going candidates across the Union Territory.
JKBOSE further issued Notification No. 15/HSP-II/Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual, 2025, supplementing earlier notices and providing additional clarity to Private and Bi-Annual Class 12th candidates regarding the examination process.
In addition to exam conduct notifications, the board issued separate notices related to Unfair Means (UFM) Review and Appellate Committees. Notifications were issued for Class 12th Private Bi-Annual Examination 2025, Class 11th Private Bi-Annual Examination 2025, and Class 10th Private Bi-Annual Examination 2025, allowing students booked under UFM to seek review or appeal as per the prescribed procedure.
JKBOSE has also notified the conduct of External Practical Assessments for Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) under Annual Regular 2025 (October–November session) for the Winter Zone of the Kashmir Division. Students have been advised to coordinate with their respective institutions for schedules and instructions.
Meanwhile, the board declared revaluation results through Revaluation Result Notification No. 090/HSP-Two (P)/Bi-Annual 2025 (25BKTP), enabling Class 12th Private Bi-Annual candidates to check their revised results after rechecking.
Earlier, JKBOSE had also issued Notification No. 101/HSE-I/Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual, 2025, dated 21 November 2025, related to Class 11th candidates, outlining examination guidelines and official decisions.
Education officials have advised students to regularly monitor the official JKBOSE website and strictly follow the instructions mentioned in each notification. Non-compliance, the board cautioned, may lead to academic complications or delays.
With a large number of students appearing under Regular, Private and Bi-Annual streams, these notifications are expected to play a key role in ensuring transparency, timely grievance redressal and smooth conduct of examinations across Jammu and Kashmir.
