Srinagar/Jammu, October 24, 2025: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the detailed gazette for the Class 10th Bi-Annual Private Examination 2025.

The gazette provides a complete breakdown of subjects, number of candidates appeared, pass percentages, vocational subjects, and other key details for both Jammu and Kashmir divisions. Students, parents, and educational institutions can now download the official PDFs for reference and verification.

Jammu Division Results Overview

In Jammu division, a total of 51,187 students were enrolled for the examination, out of which 18,111 students qualified, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 35.38%. Among the core subjects, English saw 40,263 candidates with a 44.30% pass rate, Mathematics had 31,401 candidates with 39.50% passing, while Hindi recorded the highest pass percentage among mainstream subjects at 64% with 4,242 candidates. Urdu had 15,114 students with 46% passing, Science had 28,678 candidates with 43.50% passing, and Social Studies recorded a 43.90% pass rate among 24,028 students.

The gazette also lists the performance in vocational and additional subjects. Notable pass percentages include Retail (92%), Kashmir (80%), Telecommunication (65%), and Arabic (50%). Other subjects such as Physical Education and Sports recorded 23%, Beauty & Wellness 26.70%, and Healthcare 25%. Some subjects like Bodhi saw no pass, while Computer Science and Dogri were marked with pending results or were not conducted.

Kashmir Division Results Overview

Kashmir division also mirrors similar numbers with a total enrollment of 51,187 students, of which 18,111 students qualified, maintaining an overall pass percentage of 35.38%. The breakdown in core subjects is consistent with Jammu, highlighting English at 44.30%, Mathematics at 39.50%, Hindi at 64%, Urdu at 46%, Science at 43.50%, and Social Studies at 43.90%.

Vocational and optional subjects in Kashmir division similarly reflect strong performance in Retail (92%) and Kashmir (80%), while areas such as Physical Education (23%) and Healthcare (25%) remain low. Subjects like Bodhi recorded no pass, and Computer Science and Dogri remain pending.

Important Notes and Observations

The gazette also details cases of disputed eligibility (2), unfair means (5), exams cancelled (62), and disqualifications for one, two, or three years. A total of 254 subjects were cancelled for various administrative reasons, while certain results are pending release. The Board has urged students to cross-check all marks with the gazette to avoid any discrepancies.

Educationists suggest that such detailed gazette releases help improve transparency, allowing private candidates, parents, and institutions to independently verify results, ensure accountability, and assist in planning admissions and future academic steps.
