JKBOSE Result Update: Class 10th, 11th and 12th Annual Regular Results to Be Announced Soon

Srinagar, 16 December: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is preparing to announce the results of the Class 10th, 11th and 12th annual examinations conducted during the October–November 2025 session, with results expected to be declared in January 2026. The examinations were held for students of the Kashmir division and the winter zone areas of the Jammu division.

According to insider sources, the evaluation process of answer scripts is nearing completion and internal preparations are underway for the declaration of results. The Board is expected to announce the results in a phased manner, rather than releasing them simultaneously for all classes.

Sources said that Class 10th results are likely to be declared first, possibly during the first or second week of January 2026. The results for Class 12th are expected to follow in the second or third week of January, while Class 11th results may be announced towards the fourth week of the month.

Officials said the Board is taking extra care to ensure accuracy in evaluation and compilation of results, given the large number of students involved in this examination cycle. Approximately 2.47 lakh students appeared in the October–November 2025 examinations, making it one of the biggest examination exercises conducted by JKBOSE in recent years.

Among the candidates, Class 10th recorded the highest participation with around 95,000 students, followed by nearly 82,000 students from Class 11th and about 70,000 students from Class 12th. The exams were conducted in offline mode across various centres in Jammu and Kashmir under strict supervision.

This examination session also witnessed several academic relaxations aimed at reducing stress among students. JKBOSE had announced a 15 percent syllabus relaxation across all subjects for Classes 10th, 11th and 12th. The move was welcomed by students and parents, especially in view of climatic challenges and academic disruptions faced during the session.

For Class 11th students, the Board also scheduled practical examinations starting from December 15, 2025. These practical exams are being conducted at the district level to ensure smoother coordination and to minimise logistical difficulties during the winter season.

Once declared, students will be able to access their results on the official websites of JKBOSE, including jkbose.nic.in and jkresults.nic.in. Students will need to enter their roll number and registration number to view their results.

Board officials clarified that the online result will be provisional in nature. Original marks cards and pass certificates will be distributed later through the respective schools and institutions after official verification.

JKBOSE has advised students and parents to rely only on official announcements and avoid believing unverified information circulating on social media regarding result dates. Students have also been encouraged to keep their roll numbers and registration details ready to avoid last-minute inconvenience.

The upcoming results are expected to play a crucial role for students planning admissions, career choices and further academic progression in the next academic session.
