Expected Result Date

As per the tentative schedule, the Class 10th result is likely to be announced around January 5 or January 6, 2026. While JKBOSE has not issued an official date yet, sources within the education department said the board is aiming to release the result within the first week of January.

The early declaration is intended to help students plan admissions and academic decisions without delay.

Sources said that the evaluation and compilation of answer scripts is at an advanced stage. Nearly 90 percent of the result work has already been completed by the end of December 2025. The remaining work is expected to be finalized shortly, after which the result will be uploaded on official platforms.

Board officials said special care is being taken to ensure accuracy in tabulation and avoid post-result corrections.

Examination Details

The Class 10th Annual Regular examinations were held from November 3 to November 27, 2025, across designated centres in the Kashmir Division and winter zones of the Jammu Division. The exams were conducted smoothly under strict supervision, with a large turnout of students.

This year, over 94,000 students appeared in the Class 10th examination, making it one of the largest examination exercises conducted by JKBOSE.

Syllabus Relaxation

In view of academic disruptions faced during the session, JKBOSE had announced a 15 percent syllabus relaxation for Class 10th students. The move was welcomed by students, parents, and teachers, as it reduced academic pressure and helped candidates perform better in the examination.

Education experts said the relaxation was a significant relief, especially for students from remote and weather-affected areas.

How Students Can Check Their Result

Once the result is officially declared, students will be able to check their Class 10th result through the following methods:

Official Websites: Students can visit the JKBOSE result portals and enter their Roll Number and Registration Number to access their marks.

SMS Facility: Students can receive their result via SMS by typing JKBOSE10 <Roll NUMBER> and sending it to 5676750.

DigiLocker: Digital marksheets will also be made available on the DigiLocker platform shortly after the online declaration.

Important Instructions

JKBOSE has advised students to consider the online result as provisional. The original marks certificates and pass certificates will be distributed later through the respective schools.

Students are also advised to rely only on official sources for result updates and avoid rumours circulating on social media.

What’s Next for Students

After the declaration of the Class 10th result, students will begin preparations for Class 11 admissions, stream selection, and subject choices. Education officials said early result declaration will help streamline the admission process across higher secondary schools.

With the result announcement just days away, anticipation is running high among students and parents across Jammu and Kashmir.
