JKBOSE Class 12th Annual Regular 2025 Result Update
Srinagar, Jan 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is set to declare the Class 12th Annual Regular examination result today at 2:00 PM, shortly after announcing the Class 10th results earlier this morning.
As per some sources, the Class 12th results are also expected to record a high pass percentage, similar to Class 10th. In fact, JKBOSE is likely to announce that around 85 percent of Class 12th students have qualified the examination, though the final figures will be released with the official result notification.
The Class 10th result, released around 10:30 AM, showed a strong overall performance by students across the Union Territory. As per JKBOSE figures, 85 percent of students have qualified the Class 10th examination.
In the Kashmir Division, the pass percentage stood at 87.63 percent, while in the Jammu Division, it was recorded at 77.89 percent.
Over 94,000 students had appeared in the Class 10th Annual Regular examinations, which began on November 3, 2025. Out of these, 68,804 students were from Kashmir Division, 25,224 from the winter zone areas of Jammu Division, while 660 candidates from Kargil and 95 from Leh were also enrolled.
The Board had set up 994 examination centres across the region to conduct the examinations smoothly. Earlier, the JKBOSE Secretary had also confirmed that nearly 95,000 students were registered for the Class 10th exams this year.
With the Class 10th results now out, all eyes are on the Class 12th results, which JKBOSE has officially confirmed will be declared at 2 PM today. Students, parents, and schools across Jammu and Kashmir are anxiously waiting for the outcome.
JKBOSE had earlier announced a 15 percent syllabus relaxation for Class 10th, 11th and 12th students for the Annual Regular examinations. The decision was taken on the recommendations of the Directorates of School Education Kashmir and Jammu after repeated requests from students, parents, and other stakeholders.
The Board had cited delayed academic sessions, heat waves, torrential rains, cloudbursts, and floods as major factors that disrupted the academic calendar, making syllabus relaxation necessary.
Students of Class 12th are advised to keep checking the official JKBOSE website as the result is expected to go live later this afternoon.
