JKPSC Declares J&K Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination 2024 Result
Jammu, Jan 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) on Tuesday declared the result of the Jammu and Kashmir Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination 2024, clearing the way for the next stage of the prestigious recruitment process.
According to an official notification issued by the Commission, candidates who appeared in the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination held from July 23 to August 1, 2025, have now been shortlisted for the Personality Test, also known as the Viva-Voce. The roll numbers of the qualified candidates have been listed in Annexure-A of the notification.
The candidates who have qualified will be considered for selection to key civil services posts including the Junior Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, Jammu and Kashmir Police (Gazetted) Service, and Jammu and Kashmir Accounts (Gazetted) Service.
JKPSC clarified that the candidature of all shortlisted candidates remains provisional. At the time of the Personality Test, candidates will be required to produce original documents to verify their eligibility, including proof of age, educational qualifications, domicile status, category, and disability status, if applicable. Candidates have been advised to keep all relevant documents ready in advance.
The Commission further stated that the detailed schedule for the Personality Test or Viva-Voce will be notified separately in due course.
In another important update, JKPSC informed that the mark sheets of all candidates who appeared in the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination 2024 will be uploaded on the official website of the Commission within one month from the date of publication of the final result. These mark sheets will remain accessible online for a period of 30 days.
The notification also mentions that the result declaration is subject to the outcome of any writ petitions, if pending before courts of law.
The result notification has been issued under Notification No. PSC/Exam(S)/2026/04 dated January 21, 2026, and has been circulated to various government departments and media outlets for wider public information.
